The DualConnect Router Solution

Eliminate practical and administrative issues and cost savings relating to multiple service providers and devices.The DualConnect Router offer customers a dual SIM device that provides automatic detection of problems on the cellular networks as well as automatic failover between the two networks it connects to. It is a Quad Band device with support for all current GSM Data Technologies (GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA) and will automatically switch between these technologies based on signal strength and other criteria.

The DualConnect Router provides a fully Routable Wireless VPN through the use of Fastnet Intellectual property. This implies a static IP address that is fully routable across the corporate WAN. All communication between the device and the core network is encrypted using 128bit AES encryption.

The DualConnect Router provides a fully managed wireless VPN service. The service is monitored 24 hours a day using software and support during business hours on our standard SLA. The customer has the option to negotiate more aggressive SLA’s but this will impact cost. Installation time is three business days and support is usually done remotely but if the device failed and the problem cannot be solved remotely the device is swopped out within one business day in major centers and three business days in outlying areas.
