THE FASTNET SERVICES

The FastNet VPN (Virtual Private Network) service provides a fully managed VPN service, giving you a reliable and secure network between all your sites. This can be done wirelessly or via ADSL.

FastNet allows customers the choice of multiple operators and technologies while still having a single point of contact for any network problems as well as a single bill.

The connections are “always on” and will allow data transfers and access 24 hours a day.

The FastNet devices can connect to any of the following technologies, and switch between these in the event of network failures: ADSL / HSDPA / 3G / EDGE / GPRS (depending on which service is selected and availability in the area)

Security is extremely important to FastNet, and for this reason no data will go across the internet. All data is also encrypted in the same way the banks do their encryption (as per international bank standards).

The FastNet router can also be used as a failover or backup for fixed lines.

Our Control Centre monitors all routers and most faults can be resolved remotely.

We have a national technical footprint of field agents to do on-site installations and respond to faults
